Mrs. Ame Middleton is dedicated to fostering a positive environment in order to create a school culture where every student and staff member feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. As a transformational leader, Mrs. Middleton is committed to working as a team with students, staff, and families to build strong relationships, support instructional excellence, and ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Mrs. Middleton holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The Citadel and a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from the University of Mississippi. She is also a proud product of the Beaufort County School District having attended its public schools all the way through 12th grade. She is honored to now serve the same community that helped shape her educational journey.

Mr. Cruikshank has served in education since 2017 and is a proud product of the Beaufort County School District. He attended schools here from kindergarten through 12th grade and graduated from Beaufort High School in 2001. Before entering the field of education, he owned and operated several successful businesses, bringing a strong background in leadership and strategic planning to his work in schools. He holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as in Educational Leadership. Mr. Cruikshank is passionate about evaluating and developing curricula that meet the unique needs of every student. Outside of school, he enjoys going for runs and completing obstacle courses with his family.
