Biography
I was born in Northeastern Indiana and attended Pomona College after graduating from high school. After completing my degree in French, I started teaching and working for the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education in South Korea.  After 5 years of teaching English language learners from kindergarten to tenth grade, I returned to South Carolina and pursued my Master of Arts in Teaching Degree.  After graduating, I sought a teaching position with Beaufort County School District and began working at Lady’s Island Middle School where I taught sixth grade ELA and Social Studies.  In 2014, I began teaching 5th grade at BLES.

I have worked as a teacher in Beaufort County School District for a little over four years.

My goal is to instill a love of learning in our fifth grade students and to prepare them for success in middle school.
